关于地图
East Florence Map Poster & Print
East Florence is the eastern part of Florence, in northwestern Alabama, in the area known as the Shoals. The Tennessee River flows to the south, and the wider area includes Muscle Shoals, Sheffield and Tuscumbia. On a map, East Florence has an older, relatively regular street grid, which reflects its origins as a separate industrial settlement before it became part of Florence.
Along the main roads, older commercial buildings and houses sit in blocks that have changed little over the decades. Further out, the grid gives way to newer suburban streets. The Tennessee River and its broad reservoirs dominate the region, and the Shoals is famous for its music history, including the recording studios in Muscle Shoals and Florence as the birthplace of W. C. Handy.
An East Florence map poster shows a neighbourhood with a strong grid and a long history, set in one of the South's best-known music regions. It is a meaningful choice for people with roots there.

Tennessee River
The river runs to the south of the area and widens into reservoirs throughout the Shoals. It is the defining natural feature of the entire region.
Main road frontage
Older commercial buildings line the main roads through the district. On the map, they form a clear line through the residential blocks around them.

为什么选 East Florence
一张有意义的地图
The poster suits people who grew up in East Florence, University of North Alabama graduates, and music fans with a special feeling for the Shoals. A map of a specific neighbourhood carries more meaning than one of a whole city.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a street name or a year. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
