关于地图
Élancourt Map Poster & Print
Élancourt is part of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the new town planned in the late twentieth century on the plateau west of Versailles. Its map combines two eras. There is a small old village core with a church and farm lanes, and around it are later neighbourhoods laid out in curving roads, pedestrian paths and grouped housing.
The commune's best-known landmark is the Colline d'Élancourt, a hill built up from excavation spoil. At about 231 metres it is among the highest points in the region. Élancourt is also home to France Miniature, a park of scale models of French monuments, and to the medieval Templar commanderie of La Villedieu.
An Élancourt map poster shows planned suburban design in a distinctly French form. The street pattern is ordered but never a simple grid, and it is set among woods, green corridors and the rounded outline of the hill.

New-town loops
Residential districts are designed as looping roads with car-free paths running between them. The pattern is typical of the villes nouvelles built around Paris.
Old village core
The original village survives as a small knot of irregular lanes around its church. It is a quiet reminder of what stood here before the new town arrived.

为什么选 Élancourt
一张有意义的地图
People who grew up in Élancourt usually know it through its paths, schools and the hill on the horizon. A map brings those pieces together into one picture of a place that was deliberately designed and has now been lived in for decades.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, whether with a street name, a date or a short dedication. Then choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
