Erskine Map Poster & Print
Erskine lies in Renfrewshire, on the south bank of the River Clyde west of Glasgow. It was developed mostly from the 1970s as a planned town, and it looks like one on the map: curving roads, clusters of cul-de-sacs, and separate residential areas linked by distributor roads rather than a traditional grid.
The Erskine Bridge, opened in 1971, crosses the Clyde at the edge of town and is its best-known landmark. The town is also known for Erskine, the veterans' charity that has cared for former service personnel in the area for over a century.
An Erskine map poster contrasts the broad, straight river with the looping, self-contained pattern of the estates. With the bridge crossing the water, it is one of the more graphic town plans in the west of Scotland.
