Regular town grid
The central streets form a fairly orderly pattern of blocks, making Esperança read on the poster as a neat, legible shape against the countryside.

关于地图
Esperança Map Poster & Print
Esperança lies in the Agreste region of Paraíba, on the Borborema plateau north of Campina Grande. Its name means hope in Portuguese. From above, the town is compact and fairly regular, with streets laid out across gently rolling ground and a clear centre from which the main roads lead outward to neighbouring towns and farms.
The Agreste is a transition zone between the humid coast and the dry sertão, a landscape of small farms, pastures and scattered trees. On a map this shows as a clearly defined built-up area surrounded by a loose network of rural roads. The town's shape is simple, and that simplicity is part of its appeal in a black-and-white drawing.
An Esperança map poster presents the town's grid and its roads into the countryside with the clarity of a plan. There is no river or coastline to dominate the view, so the focus falls entirely on the streets themselves, their blocks, crossings and edges. For anyone from the Agreste of Paraíba, it is a direct, recognisable image of home.

Roads to the region
Main roads leave the town in several directions, connecting it with Campina Grande and the smaller towns and farms of the Agreste.
Open plateau land
Beyond the last streets, the Borborema plateau opens into sparse rural tracks, leaving plenty of quiet space around the town in the composition.
