Coastal parallels
The beach, the Adriatic railway and the main road run in close parallel along the shore. On the poster they form a series of long lines that give the town its linear shape.

关于地图
Falconara Marittima Map Poster & Print
Falconara Marittima stretches along the Adriatic just north of Ancona in the Marche. Its map is a study in parallel lines. The shoreline, the coastal railway and the main road all run next to each other for kilometres, squeezing the lower town into a long, thin band between the sea and the first hills.
Above this ribbon, the old settlement of Falconara Alta sits on a hilltop, with the remains of its castle and a small cluster of streets looking down on the coast. To the north, the wide mouth of the Esino river breaks the coastline, and the runways of Ancona's airport, which lies within the municipality, draw a sharp straight line inland.
The large oil refinery on the seafront is part of the town's recent history and adds its own geometric block to the map. A Falconara Marittima map poster brings these layers together: a hill village, a seaside strip, heavy infrastructure and the quiet line of the sea, all within a few square kilometres.

Falconara Alta
The historic hilltop village holds a small, compact street pattern above the coast. It reads as a separate cluster, set apart from the seafront grid below.
Esino and airport
North of the centre, the Esino river reaches the sea near the long straight runway of Ancona's airport. Together they form the clearest landmark at the edge of the map.
