Fallingbrook Map Poster
Fallingbrook is a residential neighbourhood in Orléans, in the east end of Ottawa. From above, it is a classic late twentieth-century suburb. A few collector roads carry traffic through, and from them branch crescents, loops and short courts that rarely meet at right angles. The result is a pattern of rounded shapes that looks more like a fingerprint than a grid.
Parks, school grounds and green corridors sit between the streets, and walking paths connect cul-de-sacs that would otherwise be dead ends. The Ottawa River lies a short way to the north. Main roads mark the edges of the neighbourhood and link it with the rest of Orléans and with downtown Ottawa to the west.
