关于地图
Farafangana Map Poster & Print
Farafangana lies on the south-east coast of Madagascar, the main town of the Atsimo-Atsinanana region. It sits on the low coastal strip where rivers coming down from the highlands reach the Indian Ocean, and it is near the southern end of the Pangalanes, the long chain of lagoons and canals that runs along much of the east coast.
On the map, water surrounds the town. The ocean forms a long, straight edge on one side, while a river mouth and lagoon waters create curving shapes on the other. The town itself is a compact grid of streets on the narrow land between them, with a main road running along the coast and linking Farafangana to the rest of the region.
A Farafangana map poster shows that setting clearly: a small town held between sea, river and lagoon. The surrounding region produces coffee, cloves and other crops for export, and Farafangana serves as a market centre. For people from the south-east coast, the map is a simple and accurate portrait of home.

Compact street grid
The town sits on a narrow strip of land between the waters, its regular blocks forming a small, orderly cluster at the centre of the sheet.

为什么选 Farafangana
一张有意义的地图
Farafangana holds meaning for families from the south-east coast, for aid workers and researchers who have spent time there, and for travellers who have followed the Pangalanes. A map of the town between its waters recalls that setting.
Personalise the title in Malagasy, French or English, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Blueprint makes the coast and lagoon stand out.
