Medieval lanes
The old centre's narrow, winding streets, including Cheap Street and the Catherine Hill area, form a dense, irregular web that is the map's most detailed section.

关于地图
Frome Map Poster & Print
Frome lies in eastern Somerset, on hilly ground above the River Frome. The town grew as a centre of the wool and cloth trade, and its medieval and later streets climb and wind across the slopes rather than following any grid. On a map, the centre is a dense web of narrow lanes, with the river bending around its lower edge.
Frome has an unusually large number of listed buildings for a town of its size. Cheap Street, a short medieval lane, is known for the small water channel that runs down its middle, and the Catherine Hill area is a network of steep, narrow streets. The town is also known for its monthly independent market, which fills the centre.
A Frome map poster shows a place shaped by slopes and history: tangled lanes in the centre, the river curling below, and later streets spreading outward over the hills. It is an intricate composition, and the fine detail of the old town comes through clearly in black and white.

River Frome
The river loops below the town centre, and bridges connect the lower streets to the slopes rising on either side of the valley.
Hillside growth
Later residential streets spread over the surrounding hills, curving with the terrain and giving the map a layered, organic texture beyond the historic core.

为什么选 Frome
一张有意义的地图
Frome attracts people who value its old streets, independent shops and market days, and a map of the town is a natural keepsake for anyone who has settled or married here. The intricate centre makes a detailed, rewarding print.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a date or a name, and choose from five styles. Paper suits the historic centre, while Classic black and white brings out the fine tangle of lanes.
