Green edges
Large parks and wooded areas shape much of the commune, appearing as broad open patches that contrast with the tight streets of the inner Brussels municipalities.

关于地图
Ganshoren Map Poster & Print
Ganshoren is one of the smallest of the nineteen municipalities that make up the Brussels-Capital Region. It lies on the city's northwestern edge. On a map it looks like a quiet residential district. Curving streets and low-rise housing are broken up by large green spaces, and the land slopes gently away from the higher ground around Koekelberg.
The commune borders the great Basilica of the Sacred Heart, one of the largest churches in the world, whose green surroundings shape the southeastern edge of the map. Further out, the streets loosen into parkland and allotment-like plots. They give way to the outer suburbs rather than to the tightly built fabric of central Brussels.
A Ganshoren map poster shows a part of Brussels that most visitors never see. There are cul-de-sacs, crescents and irregular blocks laid out mostly in the twentieth century, framed by trees and open lawns. It is a portrait of the city as a place where people live, not the one that appears on postcards.

Near the Basilica
The monumental Basilica of the Sacred Heart and its axial park sit just beside the commune, a strong geometric feature at the edge of the map.
Curving streets
Residential roads bend and loop rather than running straight. That pattern is typical of interwar and postwar suburban planning on the western slopes of the capital.

为什么选 Ganshoren
一张有意义的地图
Ganshoren is the kind of place people call home for decades, raising children near the parks and walking the same streets every day. A map of it marks a personal Brussels that is quieter and greener than the one tourists know.
Add a title such as your street or family name, a subtitle with a move-in date, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to fit your interior.
