关于地图
Ganye Map Poster & Print
Ganye is a town in southern Adamawa State, in northeastern Nigeria, close to the border with Cameroon. It is closely associated with the Chamba people and serves as a traditional and administrative centre for the area. On a map the town appears as a spread of streets around a central market and main road, with compounds forming loose clusters as the town thins out.
Beyond the built-up area lies open savanna with farmland, streams and scattered settlements, and the Alantika Mountains rise along the border region. Seasonal watercourses cross the land in thin winding lines. Together with the fields they give the outer part of the map a gentle, irregular texture that contrasts with the denser town.
A Ganye map poster suits people with roots in the town and the Chamba homeland, many of whom now live in other Nigerian cities or abroad. It shows the place plainly, without embellishment. The map gives the market town a proper image of its own, which small places rarely get.

Border highlands
The Alantika Mountains rise in the border region, giving the wider landscape its higher ground beyond the savanna.

为什么选 Ganye
一张有意义的地图
For people from Ganye living in Yola, Abuja, Lagos or overseas, a map of the town is a way to keep home in sight. It shows the roads and neighbourhoods that family stories are set in.
Add a family name or a date to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand works well for the savanna surroundings.
