The Seine frontage
The river runs along the quarter's northern edge, crossed by several bridges including the Passerelle Simone-de-Beauvoir. It gives the map a strong horizontal band of water.

关于地图
Gare Map Poster & Print
The Quartier de la Gare covers the eastern part of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, running from the Seine inland toward the boulevards. On a map it shows several layers at once: a stretch of riverbank with its bridges, the long rectangular blocks of the Paris Rive Gauche development built over former railway land, and older streets further south, with the high-rise slabs of Les Olympiades rising among them.
The best-known building is the Bibliothèque nationale de France, whose four L-shaped towers stand at the corners of a vast rectangle like open books. A footbridge, the Passerelle Simone-de-Beauvoir, crosses the Seine from the library to Bercy. The quarter is also home to much of the neighbourhood often called the city's Chinatown.
A Gare map poster shows a side of Paris that postcard views rarely include. Straight new avenues, the river, the older street grain and the solid block of the library make a composition that feels architectural and current, especially in Blueprint or Noir.

Library rectangle
The Bibliothèque nationale de France occupies a large, clean rectangle with a tower at each corner. On the map it is one of the clearest single shapes in Paris.
Rive Gauche blocks
A newer district of long, regular blocks sits over former rail yards. Its geometry is noticeably more rational than the older streets around it.

为什么选 Gare
一张有意义的地图
People who have lived, worked or studied in the 13th often feel more attached to it than to the famous centre. This map shows their Paris: the river, the library, the towers and the everyday streets.
Change the title to Paris 13e or anything you prefer, add a subtitle or a date, and keep or edit the coordinates. Choose one of five styles and download HD files for $9, or order a framed print.
