The port basins
Long parallel docks branch off the Seine in a row of clean rectangles, the working heart of France's largest river port and the most graphic element on the map.

关于地图
Gennevilliers Map Poster & Print
Gennevilliers sits in the northwest suburbs of Paris, on the inside of one of the wide loops the Seine makes after leaving the capital. From above, the town is defined by that curve of water. The river wraps its northern and western edges, and the land inside the bend fills with a dense pattern of housing blocks, rail lines, warehouses and roads.
The most striking shape on the map is the Port de Gennevilliers, the largest river port in France. Its basins run in parallel fingers off the Seine, straight and rectangular, a geometry you rarely see in a town this size. The residential streets to the south are smaller and more irregular, and they gradually merge into Asnières and the rest of the inner suburbs.
A Gennevilliers map poster shows a place shaped by work and water rather than monuments: port docks, motorway interchanges, the metro line reaching north to its terminus, and green space in the Parc des Chanteraines. Printed in black and white, the combination of hard industrial lines and soft river curve reads clearly, even at the smaller print sizes.

The Seine loop
The river bends around the town on two sides, giving the poster a strong natural frame and separating Gennevilliers from its neighbours across the water.
Parc des Chanteraines
A broad stretch of park and water between the town and the river, which appears as an open, quiet area among the denser streets and rail yards.

为什么选 Gennevilliers
一张有意义的地图
Gennevilliers is an everyday place for many people who live, work or grew up on the northern edge of Paris. A map of it is a way to keep that familiar geography of river, port and neighbourhood on the wall, without the usual postcard image of the city centre.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be changed to mark an address, a move or a date. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Blueprint suits the port's technical lines especially well.
