关于地图
Gescher Map Poster & Print
Gescher is a small town in the Münsterland region of North Rhine-Westphalia, in western Germany near the Dutch border. The landscape around it is classic Münsterland: flat to gently rolling, divided into fields and pastures, with scattered farmsteads, hedgerows and patches of woodland. The Berkel, a small river, flows through the town and continues west toward the Netherlands.
Gescher is known as the Glockenstadt, the bell town. Church bells have been cast here for a very long time, and the town is home to a museum dedicated to bells. That tradition fits the town's measured scale. Its old centre around the church is compact, and residential streets extend outward in loops and cul-de-sacs typical of post-war German planning.
A Gescher map poster shows a well-proportioned town in an open landscape. The curves of the Berkel, the tight centre, and the wide field pattern with its dotted farmsteads all show clearly in black and white. It is a restrained picture that matches the character of the Münsterland itself.

Church-centred core
The historic centre gathers around the parish church in a compact knot of streets. Newer neighbourhoods spread out from there.
Münsterland farmsteads
Isolated farms and lines of trees are scattered across the fields. This dispersed settlement pattern gives the outer map its dotted, open texture.

为什么选 Gescher
一张有意义的地图
A map of Gescher appeals to anyone who grew up among its fields, or who connects the town with the sound of its bells. It is quiet and precise and fits well in a study or hallway.
Personalise it with your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example Glockenstadt with a year. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Printed posters are available with an optional wooden frame.
