关于地图
Green Map Poster & Print
Green lies in Summit County, Ohio, between Akron and Canton. It became a city in the early 1990s, growing out of the former Green Township, and the old township layout still shows through. Long, straight country roads run in a rough grid, and newer subdivisions fill the squares between them with curving streets and cul-de-sacs.
Akron-Canton Airport sits at the southern end of the city, and its runways are the largest single shapes on the map. Interstate 77 runs north–south through Green, with commercial development gathered at its interchanges. Small lakes and ponds are scattered across the area, a reminder that the Portage Lakes, a chain of glacial lakes, lie just to the northwest.
Green combines a rural past with suburban growth, and its map clearly shows both. A Green map poster captures the interplay of old township roads, looping residential streets and the hard geometry of the highway and runways. Parks and open land add softer areas between the neighbourhoods. The image is very different from a dense city centre, but just as distinctive.

Township grid roads
Long, straight roads inherited from the old township divide the land into large squares, the frame the suburbs grew inside.
Lakes and cul-de-sacs
Curving subdivision streets wind around small lakes and ponds, a soft, looping texture set inside the rigid grid of roads.

为什么选 Green
一张有意义的地图
Green is a place of first houses, school years and quiet streets, and for many people it is simply home. The poster works as a housewarming gift, or as a reminder of a childhood neighbourhood for anyone who has moved away from northeast Ohio.
Use your family name or street and the year you arrived for the title and subtitle, edit the coordinates, and choose from five styles. The $9 files include 18×24″ and 24×36″ alongside metric sizes, or you can order a matte print in a wooden frame.
