关于地图
Guajará Mirim Map Poster & Print
Guajará Mirim lies on the right bank of the Mamoré River in Rondônia, directly across from the Bolivian town of Guayaramerín. Here the river forms the international border, and boats carry people and goods between the two towns. Guajará Mirim was also the western terminus of the Madeira–Mamoré Railway, which was built through difficult rainforest terrain in the early twentieth century at a great human cost.
On the map, the town spreads back from the waterfront in a regular grid of streets that ends in forest. Much of the surrounding municipality is covered by conservation areas and Indigenous territories. As a result, the urban area appears as a clearly bounded patch of streets set against a large expanse of green, with the broad river along its western side.
A Guajará Mirim map poster shows a frontier town in its simplest form: a river, a grid and the forest. The wide channel of the Mamoré runs along one edge of the composition. The Bolivian shore opposite makes the print unusual, because it shows two countries facing each other at close range.

一张有意义的地图
People remember Guajará Mirim for the river, the border crossing and the forest around it. A map of the town makes a fitting reminder for families, soldiers, researchers and travellers who lived here or passed through.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name, a year or a dedication, and point the coordinates line to a house by the river. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint lets the river's broad curve stand out.
