Traditional centre
Around the emir's palace, narrow lanes and compound walls create a fine, irregular pattern. This is the densest part of the map and the historic heart of the town.

关于地图
Hadejia Map Poster & Print
Hadejia lies on the flat plains of northern Nigeria, beside the river of the same name. On a map the town is a dense core of irregular streets and compound walls, with newer roads extending outward in straighter lines. Beyond the built-up area the land opens into farmland and the broad, low floodplain of the river.
The town is the seat of the Hadejia Emirate, one of the traditional emirates of the region, and the emir's palace remains a central landmark. Downstream, the Hadejia River feeds the Hadejia-Nguru wetlands, a seasonal floodplain that matters for farming, fishing and migratory birds. The cycle of wet and dry seasons shapes the countryside around the town.
A Hadejia map poster captures an old Sahelian town in simple, legible form: tight lanes around the traditional centre, main roads leading out to neighbouring towns and the soft, braided outlines of river channels nearby. It is a quiet and unusual image, far from the familiar grids of larger cities.

For people from Hadejia working in Kano, Abuja, Lagos or abroad, the shape of home is easy to recognise even in outline. A poster is a dignified way to mark your roots, a family house or a wedding held in the town.
You can write your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name or a date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9 and print cleanly at six sizes, up to 24×36 inches.
