Hāpur Map Poster
Hāpur lies on the flat Gangetic plain east of Delhi, in western Uttar Pradesh. From above there are no hills or coastline to shape it. The town takes its form from the routes that pass through: the highway toward Moradabad, a railway junction, and the roads that fan out to the villages and fields around it.
Near the centre the street pattern gets dense and irregular, with narrow lanes packed around the old trading quarters. Further out, newer housing and industrial plots follow a looser, more rectangular layout. Hāpur has long been known as a market for grain and other farm produce, and on a map you can see how the town is built around moving goods.
