关于地图
Homs Map Poster & Print
Homs stands on a fertile plain in western Syria near the Orontes River, which flows along the city's western side on its way north. The city lies at the eastern end of the Homs Gap, a low passage through the mountains toward the Mediterranean coast, which has made it a crossroads between the interior and the sea for millennia.
At the centre, the old city forms a rounded cluster of tight, irregular lanes, surrounded by later districts with straighter streets and wider avenues. The Khalid ibn al-Walid Mosque, with its pale domes and twin minarets, stands just north of the old core. The city suffered severe damage in recent conflict, and parts are still being rebuilt.
Southwest of the city lies Lake Qattinah, an ancient reservoir on the Orontes. A Homs map poster presents the city through its lasting structure: the old core, the river and the roads radiating toward Damascus, Aleppo, the coast and Palmyra, which together describe a place of passage and return.

为什么选 Homs
一张有意义的地图
Homs holds deep meaning for families who lived there, many of them now far away. A map shows the city whole again, its streets and neighbourhoods complete on paper, which makes it a quiet way to keep home close.
The title and subtitle can hold a family name, a district or a date, and the coordinates can be edited. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand for a look that suits your home.
