Dense market core
The oldest part of town is a close web of short, winding lanes. On the map it reads as the darkest, most detailed patch of the whole composition.

关于地图
Indri Map Poster & Print
Indri is a market town in Karnal district, in the north of Haryana, on the broad alluvial plain between the Yamuna and the Himalayan foothills. From above, the land is almost perfectly level, so the map is shaped by what people have built: roads, field boundaries, water channels and the dense cluster of the town itself.
The centre is a tight knot of narrow lanes and closely packed buildings, the kind of street pattern that grows slowly around a market over generations. Around it, newer streets spread out in looser, straighter lines, and beyond them the roads become country roads running between rectangular plots of farmland that stretch out toward the horizon on every side.
An Indri map poster shows that contrast clearly. A dense, intricate core gives way to a wide, open agricultural pattern, all of it drawn in thin black lines on a pale ground. It is a quiet, grounded image of a working town on one of the most productive farming plains in India, where the layout of the land tells most of the story.

Level farmland grid
Around the town, straight field edges and farm tracks divide the plain into a patchwork of rectangles, giving the outer edges of the poster a calm, regular rhythm.
Radiating country roads
Several roads leave the town in different directions and link it to nearby villages and to Karnal, drawing long lines outward across the flat plain.

为什么选 Indri
一张有意义的地图
For people from Indri or families with roots in Karnal district, this map is a way of keeping home close. The streets they walked every day become a single clean drawing, detailed enough to trace a route and simple enough to hang in any room.
You can add your own title and subtitle, such as a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit the room it will hang in.
