Compact centre
The town is a small cluster of streets, clearly defined against its surroundings. It sits in the frame like a single mark on open ground.

关于地图
Ivohibe Map Poster & Print
Ivohibe lies in the Ihorombe region of south-central Madagascar, on the eastern side of the great southern plateaus. The town is small and compact, with a modest street network and roads leading away across open country. On a map most of the frame is taken up by landscape rather than buildings.
Close by rises the Ivohibe massif, a mountain area protected in part as a special reserve. It holds humid forest on its slopes, in contrast with the drier grasslands that cover much of the region. An Ivohibe map poster sets the small settlement against that larger natural setting.
The town serves as a local centre for surrounding villages and farming communities. Few roads cross the area, so each one stands out clearly on the map. In black and white, the fine cluster of streets and the long threads of road across empty ground make a spare, quiet image.

Mountain massif
The Ivohibe massif rises nearby, with forest on its slopes. It is the most significant natural feature around the town.
Sparse roads
Only a few roads leave town and stretch across the countryside. Their long, thin lines give the poster its sense of distance.

为什么选 Ivohibe
一张有意义的地图
For people from Ihorombe, and for travellers and researchers who have reached this remote part of Madagascar, a map of Ivohibe keeps a rarely seen place in view. It is a personal marker rather than a souvenir.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, date or dedication. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
