Old Brahmaputra
The wide river runs along the town. Its channel is scattered with sandbars and chars whose shapes shift with each flood season, giving the map a fluid, changing edge.

关于地图
Jamālpur Map Poster & Print
Jamālpur lies in north-central Bangladesh, in Mymensingh Division, on the banks of the Old Brahmaputra River. The town follows the river closely. Its streets run parallel to the water, the older centre sits near the bank, and later neighbourhoods extend inland across low, flat land that floods in the monsoon season.
The river itself is one of the most striking features of the map. Its broad channel carries shifting sandbars and islands known as chars, which change shape from year to year. The surrounding land is a patchwork of rice fields, ponds and villages, connected by narrow raised roads that stay above the floodwater.
Jamālpur is the administrative centre of its district and a local hub for farming and trade, and a railway line links it to Mymensingh and beyond. A Jamālpur map poster captures a place where land and water are closely intertwined. The town follows the curve of the river, and the countryside spreads out around it in fine detail.

Riverside centre
The oldest part of town sits close to the riverbank, where streets are densest and follow the line of the water rather than a regular grid.
Floodplain villages
Around the town, clusters of homes, ponds and paddy fields spread across the low plain. Embankment roads link them and draw fine lines across the landscape.

为什么选 Jamālpur
一张有意义的地图
Many people from Jamālpur now live in Dhaka or abroad, and a map of the town keeps the river and the streets of home close. Add a family name, a village or a special date to the title and subtitle.
Blueprint and Noir bring out the river's shapes, while Classic, Paper and Sand keep the design quiet and light. The digital files cost $9 and include six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files. A free watermarked preview is available first.
