Gwadar Bay shoreline
Jiwani faces the broad sweep of Gwadar Bay. The long, smooth curve of that coast forms the main line of the poster and frames the town against a large field of open water.

关于地图
Jiwani Map Poster & Print
Jiwani is on the Makran coast of Balochistan, near the eastern shore of Gwadar Bay and only a short distance from the border with Iran. Its shape comes almost entirely from water. The town sits on low, sandy ground that reaches toward the sea, with shoreline on more than one side. Behind it lies the flat, dry country typical of this coast.
The street pattern is loose and low-rise. A few main roads run through it, and smaller lanes branch off between compounds and open plots. An airstrip lies close to the town. Its origins go back to the Second World War, and its long straight runway is one of the clearest geometric shapes in the area. The rest of the map is sand, tidal edges and sea.
A Jiwani map poster is mostly about space. The coastline outlines the town sharply, and the empty water around it gives the composition a strong, quiet balance. Printed in black and white, the fine lines of the streets look almost fragile against the wide bay and the Arabian Sea.

The airstrip
A runway dating back to the Second World War lies beside the town. Its straight, clean rectangle contrasts with the irregular coastline and the loosely spaced streets.
Border setting
The Iranian frontier is close by to the west. A wider frame shows the town as one of the last settlements on Pakistan's coast before the border.

为什么选 Jiwani
一张有意义的地图
Jiwani is a remote place that people remember clearly: the sea on several sides, the flat light, the sense of being at the edge of the country. A map of it suits someone with roots on the Makran coast or a traveller who made it this far.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for instance with a date or a short line. Then choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to the warmer Paper, the technical Blueprint or the soft Sand.
