关于地图
Kadūr Map Poster & Print
From above, Kadūr is set by its railway lines. Tracks cross the dry plateau of Chikkamagaluru district and meet at the town. Streets gather along them and around the station, then thin out into farmland, tanks and scattered villages. The pattern is typical of the Deccan edge, where roads and rails decide where a town takes root.
Kadur Junction is the town's best-known feature. It is where the line toward Chikkamagaluru branches off the main route across the district. On a map, that split is easy to see: one straight line meets another at an angle, and the built-up area sits in the wedge between them. Beyond that, the streets form an irregular mesh that grew outward over time.
A Kadūr map poster shows these plain lines with no colour and no clutter. Take away the terrain shading and the labels, and the town becomes a clear diagram of how rail shaped a place. The coffee hills to the west lie outside the frame, but you can feel them in the direction the branch line takes.

Station-side streets
The densest part of town sits near the tracks. Short lanes cluster close to the station and loosen into wider plots further out.
Plateau surroundings
Around the town, the map opens into fields and small water tanks. Thin rural roads branch off, and the edges of the poster stay light and open.

为什么选 Kadūr
一张有意义的地图
Kadur is often a place people pass through on the way to the hills, and for many it is also home. A print of its junction speaks to anyone whose journeys, family or working life have run through this corner of Karnataka.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a date, and a coordinates line. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy it as a $9 HD download or order it printed and framed.
