关于地图
Kannad Map Poster & Print
Kannad is a town in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, north-west of the district's main city, on the Deccan plateau. From above, it has a dense old centre of narrow lanes surrounded by newer residential areas, with the main highway toward the north passing close by before climbing into the hills through the Autram ghat.
To the north of town lies the Gautala Autramghat Wildlife Sanctuary, a stretch of forested hills and ravines at the edge of the Sahyadri ranges. The land around Kannad is otherwise farmed, with fields, wells and streams that run strongly in the monsoon and shrink in the dry season. Villages dot the plain in every direction.
A Kannad map poster sets the tight weave of the old town against the open plateau and the rising ground to the north. The winding ghat road and the hills make a strong counterpoint to the fields, and the result is a map with a clear sense of landscape as well as streets.

Autram ghat road
North of town, the highway climbs into the hills in a series of curves, one of the most expressive lines on the whole map.
Gautala hills
Forested hills and ravines of the wildlife sanctuary fill the northern part of the map, leaving broad, calm areas with only a few tracks.
