Government offices and the main commercial streets gather in the centre, where the road network is at its densest and the blocks are smallest.

关于地图
Kepanjen Map Poster & Print
Kepanjen lies in East Java, south of the city of Malang, and serves as the administrative seat of Malang Regency. It sits in a fertile basin surrounded by volcanic mountains, and the land around it is intensively farmed. That setting shapes the map: a town centre of close streets surrounded by villages strung along roads between fields.
From above, the built-up area is less a single block than a loose network. Main roads carry rows of houses outward, and the gaps between them are filled with irrigated land and small watercourses draining toward the Brantas river system. The result is a fine, organic pattern rather than a formal grid.
A Kepanjen map poster captures that transition between town and countryside. In monochrome, the roads and settlement clusters become a delicate web, with the empty spaces of the fields giving the composition room to breathe.

Ribbon villages

Rivers and irrigation
Small rivers and channels run through the area toward the Brantas basin, adding thin winding lines between the fields and the built-up clusters.
