关于地图
Kérouané Map Poster & Print
Kérouané is a prefecture town in Guinea's Kankan Region, in the eastern part of the country, where savanna begins to meet forested hills. On a map, the town has a loose street pattern around its centre. Laterite roads lead out in several directions through open, lightly wooded land and connect it with nearby towns and villages.
The Simandou range, known worldwide for its very large iron ore deposits, extends into Kérouané prefecture. This makes the area important for Guinea's future, although the town itself remains modest. Around it, streams and seasonal watercourses cross the land. Farm plots and village clusters are scattered between them.
A Kérouané map poster shows a regional town at a clear, readable scale. The centre, the roads leaving it and the watercourses around it make a calm, uncluttered composition. It is especially meaningful for people with family in the prefecture or anyone who has worked in eastern Guinea.

Roads leave the town toward Kankan, Beyla and other settlements. They are the main straight lines across the surrounding savanna.
Streams and bush
Small rivers and seasonal channels cross the lightly wooded country. They add fine, curving lines between the roads.
