关于地图
Keru Map Poster & Print
Keru lies in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, a short distance west of the city of Jodhpur, where the land opens into the dry plains of the Thar Desert. On a map the settlement is a modest cluster of lanes and houses, surrounded by wide open ground marked by field boundaries, tracks and the occasional seasonal watercourse.
Rainfall here is low and uneven, and the landscape reflects it: farming follows the monsoon, fields are large and loosely defined, and villages sit at some distance from one another. That spacing gives the drawing a sense of air, with the settlement standing out clearly in a mostly open frame and every road becoming a deliberate line.
A Keru map poster is a portrait of a desert-edge place rather than a city of monuments. Its strength lies in contrast: dense lanes at the centre, roads striking out toward Jodhpur and neighbouring villages, and the fine, irregular lines of the land around. It will speak most to anyone with roots in western Rajasthan.

Road toward Jodhpur
The main road east links Keru with the city of Jodhpur, one of the few long, steady lines in an otherwise irregular landscape.
Desert field pattern
Wide, loosely bounded fields and sandy tracks spread around the settlement, drawn as faint lines that show how the dry land is divided and used.

为什么选 Keru
一张有意义的地图
For people with family in Keru or elsewhere around Jodhpur, the map is a personal record of a place that seldom appears in atlases. Its sparse layout suits minimalist interiors, and the open desert around the village gives it a calm composition.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to include a name or date, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy HD files in six sizes for $9, with no watermark, or order a printed poster from a print partner near you.
