关于地图
Khujand Map Poster & Print
Khujand stretches along the Syr Darya at the western mouth of the Fergana Valley, with the old city on the southern bank and newer districts across the river to the north. Bridges stitch the two halves together, and the river runs through the middle of the map as a broad, calm band. To the east, the Kayrakkum Reservoir widens the water into a long lake.
It is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. Alexander the Great is traditionally credited with founding Alexandria Eschate here, and the city later sat on Silk Road routes between the Fergana Valley and Samarkand. In the Soviet period it was called Leninabad. Today it is the second-largest city in Tajikistan and the centre of Sughd region.
A Khujand map poster brings out the shape of a river city: the dense blocks near the restored fortress and the Panjshanbe bazaar, the straighter Soviet-era avenues, and the softer edges of the floodplain. With mountain ridges rising beyond the valley, the composition feels anchored and spacious at once.

Fortress quarter
The citadel of Khujand, rebuilt over the centuries on ancient foundations, sits near the southern riverbank and marks the core from which the old city grew.
Kayrakkum Reservoir
Upstream to the east, the dammed river opens into a long reservoir, often called the Tajik Sea, which gives a wider map a striking sheet of open water.

为什么选 Khujand
一张有意义的地图
Khujand has more than two thousand years behind it, yet its plan remains easy to read: a river, a fortress, a bazaar and the districts that grew around them. For anyone from Sughd, or anyone who has travelled the Fergana road, it is a meaningful place to keep close.
Add your own title, subtitle and date, and adjust the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, each change the mood. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
