关于地图
Kiminini Map Poster & Print
Kiminini is a town in Trans Nzoia County in western Kenya, on the high plateau between Mount Elgon and the Cherangani Hills. The county is known as one of the country's main grain-growing areas, and the land around the town is largely given over to maize and mixed farms.
On a map, Kiminini forms along its main road, with a trading centre where shops, the market and public buildings cluster. Smaller streets and paths branch off into residential areas and then into farmland, where field boundaries and farm tracks take over from streets.
A Kiminini map poster shows a town defined by its road and its fields. The black and white treatment gives weight to the main route through the centre and lets the surrounding agricultural pattern form a fine, even background, a simple image of a highland farming town.

Farming plateau
Trans Nzoia's highland farmland surrounds the town, and the lines of fields and tracks give the edges of the map a quiet, regular texture.
Trading centre
Near the heart of town, a denser knot of short streets marks the market and commercial centre, the busiest part of the map.
