Ridge alignment
The town stretches along the crest of its hills, so its outline on the map is long and narrow rather than round, following the shape of the land.

关于地图
Kolasib Map Poster & Print
Kolasib is the headquarters of Kolasib district in northern Mizoram, on the main highway that climbs from the plains of Assam toward the state capital, Aizawl. Like many towns in Mizoram, it is built along ridges. From above, its streets follow the high ground in long curves, with buildings clinging to the slopes on either side.
The surrounding country is steep and forested, cut by deep river valleys, and the map shows this sharply. Roads zigzag back and forth and rarely run straight for long, and the edges of the town fall away quickly into green land. For travellers coming from the north, Kolasib is one of the first sizeable towns in Mizoram.
A Kolasib map poster is a portrait of a hill town where every street is shaped by the slope. The winding lines are expressive even at small print sizes. In larger formats, the zigzags and ridge roads become a graphic pattern of their own that anyone who has travelled this route will recognise.

Highway through town
The main road to Aizawl passes through Kolasib. It is the busiest line on the map and the axis most of the town is organised around.
Switchback roads
Roads leaving the ridge drop into the valleys in tight zigzags, forming some of the most distinctive shapes in the frame.

为什么选 Kolasib
一张有意义的地图
Hill towns in Mizoram have a strong sense of place, and people who leave for study or work elsewhere often want something that keeps that feeling. A map of Kolasib does it with nothing but the town's own lines.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited to carry a name, a date or a short message. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD files cost $9 and have no watermark.
