关于地图
Komárno Map Poster & Print
Komárno and Komárom were a single town until 1920, when the new border was drawn along the Danube and divided it. Today Komárno lies on the northern, Slovak bank and Komárom on the southern, Hungarian one. A map of the area shows the two halves facing each other across the river, joined by road and rail bridges.
Most people in Komárno speak Hungarian, and the town has strong cultural ties across the river. It is the birthplace of the novelist Mór Jókai and of the composer Franz Lehár, known for The Merry Widow. In the centre, the Europe Place courtyard groups buildings in styles from across the continent around a series of squares.
A Komárno map poster centred on the old town shows a dense grid of short streets and squares, the long embankment along the Danube and the bridge heads leading south. The river itself is the widest line on the map, and it tells the town's story better than any label could.

Europe Place
This modern courtyard complex in the centre groups buildings inspired by European architectural styles around enclosed squares. It shows up as a distinct block pattern.
Old town core
Short streets and small squares form the historic centre near the river. This compact, irregular area stands out against the broader districts built later.
