关于地图
Kota Map Poster & Print
Kota is built along the east bank of the Chambal River in southeastern Rajasthan. On the map the river is the dominant feature, running broadly north through the city, crossed by bridges and held back by the Kota Barrage, which feeds irrigation canals that fan out across the surrounding plain.
The old city lies near the river, around the former palace and fort of the Hada Rajput rulers. Nearby, Kishore Sagar lake forms a clear shape in the centre, with a small palace on an island and parkland along its edges. Newer residential colonies extend outward in regular blocks.
A Kota map poster shows a city organised by water: river, barrage, canals and lake. Today Kota is best known across India as a coaching hub, where students from all over the country come to prepare for engineering and medical entrance exams, and the city is also famous for its fine Kota Doria textiles.

为什么选 Kota
一张有意义的地图
Many people remember Kota as the city where they spent a demanding year or two of study, far from home. A map of its river and streets makes a surprisingly personal gift for a student, or a reminder of where a career began.
Add your own title and a subtitle with a year or name, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a printed poster.
