Branching lanes
Narrow roads split and meet again across the landscape, creating an irregular, leaf-like pattern that is typical of rural Kerala.

关于地图
Kudali Map Poster & Print
Kudali is in Kannur district in northern Kerala, inland from the coast. As in much of rural Kerala, there is no single dense centre. Homes are spread among gardens and coconut palms, and the map shows a web of small roads and lanes that branch and rejoin across low hills.
The terrain rises gradually towards the Western Ghats to the east, and streams and paddy land fill the lower ground between the ridges. Main roads carry traffic between the nearby towns, while the smaller lanes follow property lines and contours.
A Kudali map poster captures this pattern: a fine, organic tracery of routes rather than a grid, with small clusters around junctions, temples, schools and shops. It shows how many Keralan communities are organised, continuous and green rather than tightly built.

Low laterite hills
Gentle rises and valleys shape where roads run, with lanes following ridgelines and dipping towards streams and fields.
Junction clusters
Small concentrations of buildings gather where main roads meet, forming local centres within an otherwise dispersed settlement.

为什么选 Kudali
一张有意义的地图
Many families from northern Kerala live far from home, in other states or abroad. A map of Kudali brings the lanes of the village back into view and suits a home, an office or a gift for parents.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a house name, a family name or a date, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
