The confluence
The Krishna and Panchganga meet close to town, and on the poster their merging channels form a broad, flowing shape that anchors the whole composition.

关于地图
Kurandvād Map Poster & Print
Kurandvād lies in Kolhapur district in southern Maharashtra, on the bank of the Krishna river close to where the Panchganga flows into it. From above, the town is bounded by water, with an older core of close-set lanes near the river and newer streets extending inland across flat, fertile land. The rivers loop broadly across the plain, framing the settlement on its southern side.
It was the seat of the small princely state of Kurundwad, ruled by a branch of the Patwardhan family, and the riverfront still carries stone ghats and older buildings from that era. The confluence area is a place of pilgrimage for the wider region, and the surrounding farmland, well watered by the two rivers, is known for sugarcane.
A Kurandvād map poster is shaped by these two rivers. Their wide, pale ribbons cut across the frame, with the dense town fabric pressed against one bank and open cultivated land on the other. It is an image of a river town in the Deccan, where water decides both the outline of the settlement and the rhythm of life around it.

Riverside ghats
Steps and older buildings along the bank mark the historic core of the former princely capital, where the densest lanes gather beside the water.
Canefield plain
Beyond the streets, flat irrigated farmland opens out, crossed by straight field roads and channels that contrast with the curving rivers.
