Close-knit lanes
Narrow lanes and very small blocks create one of the most detailed textures on the map, a dense pattern that reads almost like woven fabric.

关于地图
Kusum Pur Map Poster & Print
Kusum Pur is a neighbourhood in South Delhi, close to Vasant Vihar and the wooded stretches of the Delhi Ridge, the northern tail of the Aravalli hills. The ground here is rocky and uneven, and the settlement developed on it in a very different way from the planned colonies and broad roads that surround it.
On the map the contrast is striking. Inside Kusum Pur, lanes are narrow and closely spaced, forming an intricate mesh of tiny blocks. Around it, the city opens into larger plots, curving arterial roads and generous patches of green, including ridge forest and landscaped grounds.
A Kusum Pur map poster brings out that difference in scale and texture: dense fine lines at the centre, calmer shapes all around. For those who live or grew up here, it is a precise, honest picture of the place, drawn with the same care as any other part of Delhi.

Ridge landscape
The rocky, partly forested ground of the Delhi Ridge lies nearby, appearing as open, pale space that frames the settlement to one side.
Planned surroundings
Broad roads and larger residential colonies around Kusum Pur contrast sharply with its fine grain, making the neighbourhood stand out clearly in the composition.
