Lake Wailes
A near-circular lake right next to downtown. Streets wrap around its shore, and it forms the clearest landmark in the town's map.

关于地图
Lake Wales Map Poster & Print
Lake Wales sits on the Lake Wales Ridge in central Florida, a long band of ancient sand dunes running north to south through the state. On a map, the town is scattered with lakes. Lake Wailes lies right beside downtown, and the street grid bends and breaks wherever the water gets in the way.
Just north of the city is Bok Tower Gardens, a carillon tower and landscaped gardens on Iron Mountain, one of the highest natural points in peninsular Florida. The town is also known for Spook Hill, a slope where cars appear to roll uphill. Citrus groves shaped the area's economy and still show in the land around it.
A Lake Wales map poster is mostly about water and ground. The round lakes appear as clean blank shapes, the grid fits around them, and highways run along the ridge. Few Florida towns of this size make such a balanced composition.

Iron Mountain
The high ground north of town holds Bok Tower Gardens. Here roads curve over rare Florida elevation instead of running flat and straight.
Ridge of lakes
Many smaller lakes are scattered across the ridge. They break the grid into irregular pieces and leave pale open shapes throughout the map.

为什么选 Lake Wales
一张有意义的地图
Lake Wales often means a winter home, a family citrus business or a visit to the tower on the ridge. A map poster keeps its lakes and streets together in one calm image.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can mark an address or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters ship from partners in more than thirty countries.
