关于地图
Lawrenceville Map Poster & Print
Lawrenceville is the county seat of Gwinnett County, north-east of Atlanta. It was founded in 1821 and named after Captain James Lawrence, the naval officer remembered for the words Don't give up the ship. At its centre is a traditional courthouse square, with a small grid of streets around the historic courthouse.
Beyond the square, the map changes quickly. Main roads radiate outward, and between them lie winding residential streets, cul-de-sacs, shopping centres and wooded creek corridors typical of metro Atlanta. Georgia Gwinnett College occupies a large campus to the south of the old centre.
A Lawrenceville map poster captures both sides of the town. It shows the compact historic square at the heart, the busy suburban growth around it, and the long roads that tie the county together, with the curving streets giving the drawing an organic texture.
