关于地图
Liangping Map Poster & Print
Liangping is a district in the north-east of Chongqing municipality, in a region otherwise known for its steep, parallel ridges. The town sits in a relatively broad, level basin, and that shows clearly on the map. The streets spread outward more freely than in the hill towns around it, while long mountain ranges line the horizon to either side and roads squeeze through the gaps between them.
The district's flat, fertile ground has long made it a farming centre in a hilly part of western China. Liangping is known nationally for its pomelos, a local variety that has become something of a regional emblem. Road and rail links now connect the district with central Chongqing and with neighbouring Sichuan.
A Liangping map poster captures a town that has room to spread. The urban centre is compact, newer districts extend across the basin floor, and at the edges the map carries the long, folded texture of the surrounding hills. In black and white, the contrast between plain and ridge gives the image depth.

Parallel ridges
Long mountain ranges run along either side of the basin. They appear as bands of open ground at the edges of the poster, framing the town between them.
New districts
Recent development extends outward from the older centre with wider roads and larger blocks. The change in scale is easy to read on the map.
