关于地图
Liptovský Mikuláš Map Poster & Print
Liptovský Mikuláš sits in the Liptov basin, a wide valley in northern Slovakia where the Váh river runs east to west. On a map the town appears as a dense core around its central square. Housing estates and industrial blocks spread out around it, and the river and the railway run side by side through the valley floor. The flat ground of the basin gives the street plan an open, loose feel.
West of the town the Váh widens into Liptovská Mara, a large reservoir whose irregular shoreline takes up a big part of the frame. To the south, the Low Tatras rise toward the Demänovská valley, known for its limestone caves and the Jasná ski area. To the north the Western Tatras begin. The town is also remembered as the place where the outlaw Juraj Jánošík was tried and executed in 1713.
A Liptovský Mikuláš map poster shows where a valley town meets water and mountains. The dense centre, the reservoir's shoreline and the roads leading south toward the ranges each read differently in monochrome. That makes a useful composition for anyone who knows the area from ski trips, hiking in the Tatras or a childhood in the Liptov region.

为什么选 Liptovský Mikuláš
一张有意义的地图
The poster often goes to people with a link to Liptov: those who grew up here, families who return every winter, or hikers who crossed the nearby ridges. The map puts the town, the river and the reservoir into one calm image.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or the year of a first ski season. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The Blueprint style suits the reservoir and river particularly well.
