关于地图
Lobeda Map Poster & Print
Lobeda is part of Jena in Thuringia and sits in the Saale valley south of the city centre. From above, it has two distinct halves. The old village core keeps its small, irregular lanes, while the large post-war housing estates beside it are laid out as long, repeated slab blocks set in open space.
The Saale runs along the valley floor next to the district, with a railway line and main roads following the same corridor. Steep wooded slopes rise to the east, and the ruins of the Lobdeburg castle stand on the hillside above. Jena University Hospital also has its main site here, and its large buildings add another block of density to the valley.
A Lobeda map poster captures an unusual contrast in one frame: a medieval village plan, a modernist residential district and a narrow river valley enclosed by hills. The geometry of the estates is especially striking in print. Rows of parallel buildings look almost like a diagram, framed by the soft outline of the forest on the slopes.

Saale valley
The river, rail line and roads run side by side along the valley floor, making a strong line through the frame that separates the district from the opposite bank.
Lobdeburg ruins
A castle ruin stands on the wooded slope above the district. On the map, the empty area of forest around it marks the eastern edge of the built-up valley.

为什么选 Lobeda
一张有意义的地图
Many people pass through Lobeda: students, hospital staff, families in the estates, and people who grew up there. A map of the district holds all of these memories at once, drawn with the same neutral line whether the viewer remembers a flat, a ward or a walk up to the ruins.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital download is $9 for six sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF with no watermark.
