关于地图
Łomża Map Poster & Print
Łomża stands on the high left bank of the Narew in northeastern Poland. It is one of the historic towns of the Masovia and Podlasie borderland. From above, the old town is a compact cluster of streets around the market square, set on the edge of an escarpment. Below, the Narew valley opens out as wide, flat meadows crossed by the river's winding course.
The town was an important regional centre for centuries. Its Gothic co-cathedral is one of the landmarks of the old quarter, and the local brewery has made the name Łomża familiar across Poland. On the map, the historic core shows as a tight weave of short streets. Newer districts spread inland in larger blocks, and main roads lead out toward Warsaw, Białystok and the north.
A Łomża map poster makes the most of the contrast between the dense town on the bluff and the open valley below. The Narew's loops and the pale floodplain take up one side of the frame, and the streets fill the other. It is a well-balanced composition, and the old market square sits close to its natural centre.

Old market square
The historic centre is organised around a rectangular market square and a network of short streets. It is the densest and most detailed part of the print.
Narew floodplain
Wide meadows and the winding river channel take up the lowland beside the town and form a large, calm area of open space on the poster.

为什么选 Łomża
一张有意义的地图
Łomża is a town people carry with them when they move to Warsaw, Gdańsk or abroad. A map of the old town and the Narew below is a quiet way to keep that view at home, and makes a thoughtful gift for a graduation, a wedding or a move.
You can write your own title and subtitle, for example a street name or a year, and change the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital files include six print sizes, each as a PNG and a print-ready PDF.
