Castle quarter
The oldest part of Loulé is a tangle of short, winding streets around the surviving castle walls. It is the densest and most intricate area of the poster.

关于地图
Loulé Map Poster & Print
Loulé lies a few kilometres inland from the Algarve coast, north-west of Faro, where the coastal plain starts to climb toward the hills of the Serra do Caldeirão. From above, the historic centre is a knot of narrow, irregular streets around the remains of a medieval castle. Around it, newer avenues and residential blocks spread out across the gentler slopes.
The town is known for its municipal market, a building from the early twentieth century with onion-shaped domes and Moorish-inspired arches. It is also known for its carnival, one of the oldest in the Algarve. The wider municipality reaches down to the sea and includes coastal resorts, but Loulé itself keeps the character of an inland market town.
A Loulé map poster shows the contrast between the dense medieval core and the more open, regular streets that grew up around it. Roads fan out toward the coast and the hills, giving the composition a clear centre. The fine grain of the old town reads especially well in black and white.

Market district
The domed municipal market stands near the edge of the historic centre, where the old lanes meet broader streets. It marks the point where the medieval town gives way to the modern one.
Roads to coast and hills
Main roads radiate from the centre, south toward the coast and Faro and north into the hills of the Serra do Caldeirão. Together they give the map a clear star-like structure.

为什么选 Loulé
一张有意义的地图
Loulé appeals to people who know the Algarve beyond the beaches: those who have spent Saturdays at its market, stayed in the surrounding hills or made a home in the town. The map conveys that inland Algarve character in a restrained, architectural way.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a family surname or a year spent in Portugal, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick a style, from the warm Sand to the dark Noir. You can order a matte print with an optional wooden frame or download the HD files for $9.
