Spreewald canals
Countless channels branch and rejoin across the map. They form one of Germany's most intricate water networks, a fine, lace-like pattern around the town.

关于地图
Lubnjow Map Poster & Print
Lubnjow is the Lower Sorbian name for Lübbenau, the town known as a gateway to the Spreewald in southern Brandenburg. The Spree splits into hundreds of channels here, and on a map water is everywhere. Canals, known locally as Fließe, wind through the town and far into the surrounding wetland forest.
The town centre sits on the edge of this water maze. The old town has a small, compact core, and a castle with a landscaped park lies beside it. From the harbour, flat-bottomed punts carry visitors into the channels. To the west the village of Lehde has houses on small islands, reachable by water for much of its history.
Lubnjow is one of the few towns in Germany with official Sorbian bilingual signs. A Lubnjow map poster turns the Spreewald's labyrinth of canals into a striking graphic. A small town sits at one edge, and thin waterways crowd the rest of the sheet.

Castle and park
The castle and its landscaped park sit beside the old town. The park forms a green space with paths and water close to the town centre.
Lehde islands
West of town, the village of Lehde is spread across small islands among the canals. Waterways separate its houses as much as roads do.
