Delap-Uliga-Djarrit
The densely built eastern end of the atoll, where the government, the port and most homes are concentrated. Streets are packed into a thin band of land between ocean and lagoon.

关于地图
Majuro Map Poster & Print
Majuro is not a city in the usual sense but an atoll: a loop of low coral islets around a large central lagoon in the Pacific. On a map this makes an extraordinary shape. A narrow band of land, often only a few hundred metres wide, bends around open water, with the ocean on one side and the lagoon on the other.
Most people live at the eastern end, in the connected communities of Delap, Uliga and Djarrit. There, streets and buildings fill the strip almost from shore to shore. A single main road runs along the atoll for tens of kilometres, crossing causeways between islets and passing the airport runway, which takes up much of the land around it. Laura lies at the far western end.
Majuro is the capital of the Marshall Islands and sits only a few metres above sea level. Its outline shows how finely balanced land and water are here. A Majuro map poster turns the atoll into a delicate line drawing framed by empty lagoon and ocean, unlike any other map in the collection.

The main road
One continuous road follows the curve of the atoll and links the islets by causeway. On the map it traces the whole shape of the land like a single pen stroke.
The lagoon
The wide central lagoon covers most of the atoll's area. It leaves a large calm space in the composition that makes the narrow ring of land stand out.

为什么选 Majuro
一张有意义的地图
Majuro speaks to people with ties to the Marshall Islands, to those who have worked or served in the Pacific, and to anyone drawn to unusual geography. As a design it is striking: a fine curved line in a field of open space.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and add a date that matters to you. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Preview it for free, then download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
