关于地图
Mangshi Map Poster & Print
Mangshi is the capital of the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in western Yunnan, not far from the border with Myanmar. Until 2010 it was called Luxi. The city occupies a broad valley basin surrounded by forested hills. On the map it forms a compact shape on the valley floor, with rice fields and villages spreading out around it.
The region is home to Dai and Jingpo communities, and Theravada Buddhist temples and pagodas appear across the city and nearby villages. The modern streets follow a fairly regular pattern, with wide avenues crossing the centre, while older lanes and village clusters survive at the edges. An airport on the outskirts connects this remote corner of Yunnan with the rest of China.
A Mangshi map poster shows the clear logic of a valley city: a dense core on flat ground, roads following the basin outward and hills closing the view on every side. In black and white, the watercourses, the grid of new districts and the looser patterns of the villages come together in a balanced, detailed composition.

Central avenues
Broad modern avenues cross the city centre in a fairly regular grid. They form the main structure of the map and link the old and new districts.
Surrounding hills
Forested slopes rise around the basin. There the roads begin to curve and branch as they climb toward mountain villages and routes into the border region.

为什么选 Mangshi
一张有意义的地图
Mangshi means home to people from Dehong, and to travellers passing through this corner of Yunnan toward the border it is a place that feels far away. A map poster with a personalised title, a subtitle and the coordinates line keeps it in view.
Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The $9 digital files include six print sizes as 300 DPI PNGs and print-ready PDFs. A free 900 px watermarked preview lets you see the design before you buy.
