关于地图
Matsubara Map Poster & Print
Matsubara lies just southeast of Osaka city, within the continuous urban area that fills the Osaka plain. The land is flat, and nearly every part of the city is built up, so the map is made of very fine, closely spaced streets, the typical small-block fabric of Japanese residential neighbourhoods.
Cutting through this fine grain are major transport lines: railway routes running out of Osaka and large expressway interchanges whose curving ramps stand out sharply among the houses. The Yamato River runs along the north of the city, adding a single broad band of open space to an otherwise tightly packed map.
A Matsubara map poster is therefore an exercise in texture. Thousands of short streets create an almost woven surface, while the rail lines, expressways and river divide it into distinct sections. It is a detailed, absorbing image for anyone who lives in the area or commutes through it every day.

Expressway interchanges
Large highway junctions cross the city with long curving ramps, the boldest shapes on the map and a clear contrast to the small streets around them.
Yamato River
The Yamato River passes along the north of the city, a wide, straight channel that forms one of the few open spaces in the built-up landscape.

为什么选 Matsubara
一张有意义的地图
Matsubara is a place of everyday life rather than landmarks, and that is what the map shows: the streets people walk, cycle and drive each day. It makes a thoughtful gift for a new home or a move away.
Add a title, a subtitle with a date or a family name, and keep or change the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
