关于地图
Medvedovskaya Map Poster & Print
Medvedovskaya is a large Cossack settlement, or stanitsa, in Krasnodar Krai in southern Russia. Like many villages in the Kuban, it is laid out on a broad, regular plan. Long, straight streets form wide blocks, and each block is divided into deep household plots with gardens behind the houses.
The surrounding land is the flat, fertile Kuban steppe, largely given over to fields of grain and sunflowers. A small steppe river and its ponds cross the area and add a few curving lines to an otherwise rectilinear map. Farm roads run out in straight lines toward the horizon.
A Medvedovskaya map poster shows the orderly geometry typical of southern Russian stanitsas. The grid is generous rather than dense, with plenty of space between the lines. That makes it an unusually graphic, almost architectural print, especially in the Blueprint and Noir styles.

River and ponds
A small river and a chain of ponds meander through the settlement. They are the only flowing lines on a map that is otherwise ruled like graph paper.
Steppe fields
Beyond the last streets, the land is divided into huge rectangular fields. Their long boundaries continue the stanitsa grid into open countryside.

为什么选 Medvedovskaya
一张有意义的地图
Medvedovskaya is a family place for many people in the Kuban and far beyond it. A map of its streets is an understated way to honour a grandparents' house or a childhood summer.
The poster can carry your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or year, and a coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
