关于地图
Megève Map Poster & Print
Megève sits on a high, open saddle in Haute-Savoie, and its map has a softer shape than most Alpine resorts. At the centre is a small medieval core of narrow lanes around the church and square, partly pedestrianised. Around it, roads wander out across the pastures to chalets and hamlets, climbing gently toward the ski areas on all sides.
Megève was developed as a ski resort in the 1920s at the initiative of Baroness Noémie de Rothschild, who wanted a French alternative to St. Moritz. The Rothschild family built on the slopes of Mont d'Arbois, and the resort became known for its chalet architecture and the horse-drawn sleighs that still move through the village streets.
A Megève map poster shows a village rather than a resort town: an old centre, a web of country roads and open ground stretching toward Rochebrune and Mont d'Arbois. There are no grand geometric lines here, just an organic network shaped by farmland and slope, which makes for a warm and gentle composition.

Mont d'Arbois
Rising east of the village, this slope is where the Rothschilds developed the resort, and its lifts lead on toward the neighbouring ski area of Saint-Gervais.
Country roads
Beyond the centre, narrow roads spread out in every direction across pastures and woodland, linking outlying hamlets and chalets in a loose, irregular web.

为什么选 Megève
一张有意义的地图
Megève appeals to people who value an old-fashioned village atmosphere and a slower pace in the mountains. A map poster of its lanes and pastures reflects that character, and it sits naturally in a chalet, a country house or a city home.
Change the title and subtitle, set the coordinates line to a chalet or the church square, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Try the free watermarked preview first, then order HD files for $9 or a printed poster.
