Railway through town
The East Coast railway line cuts a clean, steady stroke across the map. It gives the composition a clear spine and marks the route that tied Mentakab to the rest of the peninsula.

关于地图
Mentakab Map Poster & Print
From above, Mentakab reads as a town built around movement. A main road and the East Coast railway line pass through its centre, and the densest grid of shophouse streets gathers close to them before thinning into residential lanes and scattered housing estates. Beyond the edges, the map turns quiet, broken only by estate tracks and the soft curves of streams heading toward the Pahang basin.
Mentakab sits a short distance from Temerloh, and the two towns work almost as a pair in central Pahang. The wider district is lowland country shaped by the Pahang River system and by the oil palm and rubber estates that cover much of the surrounding land. In black and white, that setting becomes a strong contrast: a tight urban knot surrounded by open, lightly lined ground.
A Mentakab map poster suits anyone who grew up in the town, passed through its railway station, or has family across the Temerloh district. The layout is modest and legible. You can follow the main road, find the old commercial core and trace the outlying neighbourhoods, which makes it a personal kind of map rather than a showpiece.

Shophouse core
Near the centre, short blocks and closely spaced streets form the densest part of the drawing. This is the commercial heart, and it shows up as the darkest, most detailed patch on the poster.
Estate country edges
Towards the margins, the street pattern gives way to sparse lines and open ground. Plantation tracks and small waterways leave light marks that frame the town with plenty of quiet space.

为什么选 Mentakab
一张有意义的地图
People hang Mentakab for the ties behind it: a childhood home, a first job in town, a family house near Temerloh. The map is simple enough to read at a glance and detailed enough to find your own street once you look closer.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name or the year you moved away. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download the HD files or order a printed poster.
