Estate roads
Looping streets and cul-de-sacs form the residential clusters. On the poster they create smooth, curving patterns unlike a grid.

关于地图
Mentiri Map Poster & Print
Mentiri lies in the Brunei-Muara District, east of the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, in the direction of Brunei Bay. From above, it is mostly residential. Housing areas are laid out along curving estate roads and cul-de-sacs, with patches of forest, low hills and green space between them.
The pattern is quite different from an old town centre. Streets loop and branch in planned layouts, and each housing scheme forms its own cluster. Main roads connect these clusters with each other and with the rest of the district. Where the ground is steeper or wetter, the map stays empty, which leaves green gaps that break the built area into separate pieces.
Many of Mentiri's residents commute to the capital, and the area has grown as part of the development of the Brunei-Muara District. A Mentiri map poster shows this layout clearly: curving residential streets, the main roads that tie them together and the undeveloped land around them.

Connecting highways
Main roads link Mentiri with the capital and the rest of the district. They cross the map as the strongest, most direct lines.
Green gaps
Forest and undeveloped hillsides separate the housing areas. These open spaces give the map air and define each cluster.

为什么选 Mentiri
一张有意义的地图
A map of Mentiri is a personal piece for families who live here, people who grew up in its housing areas and Bruneians abroad. The curving streets make a soft, distinctive design.
You can add a title, subtitle and coordinates of your choice, for example the date you moved into your home. The poster comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
